As our wedding day approaches,

And the travel ban encroaches,

We know you cannot see us wed,

Or hear us as our vows are said.

 

As for gifts, please do not try

To find the perfect thing to buy.

We have no list of pots and pans,

Just hopes and dreams and quarantine plans.

 

If a gift is still on your mind,

It will help as we prepare

A proper fête with you next year!
